| Twisted
Trees with its dryly-worked, highly-textured
surfaces depicts the dance of two intertwined
oak trees. It was exhibited in a retrospective
of Weiss' work at the Neville Public Museum,
Green Bay, WI, in 1996 and in the Huntsville
Museum of Art, Huntsville, AL, in an exhibition
entitled Watermedia 2000, sponsored by the Watercolor
USA Honor Society. It was also shown in the
Wisconsin-Saitama Art Exchange in Tokyo, Japan
in 2002. 40" x 27", it is mounted on linen and
framed to 47" x 34".
