Stream is a smaller painting for Weiss, using
Japanese mulberry paper, which handles very differently
from her usual watercolor papers. It measures
22 3/4" x 30", with a deckle edge and
mounted on off-white linen, it is framed in a
gray-washed ash frame, 31" x 41". It
was chosen for the travel show of the Adirondacks
National Exhibition of American Watercolor in
2003-04 and included in the invitational Uihlein-Peters
Gallery Weiss solo show, 2004-05.
