the Rain is a recently executed
image in rich, transparent watercolor. Though
suggesting an immanent storm, there is still
a patch of sunlight striking the more distant
rise. The painting measures 30" x 42" and is
mounted on natural off-white linen and framed
in a gray-washed simple ash frame, measuring
37" x 49" overall.
